I did have a close look at the screen and I don’t think its possible to replace the glass on its own, try watching my s2 video and click the ‘glass screen only’ link in description

  • bbbobbbo77

sorry to hear that dude, and brrr scary as i’m a new owner of N7100 and wonder what happened? I mean, should i not trust those crazy videos where they cut and chop those screens with knives, and they drop ‘em shoulder-high?! wtf, they fake or what.

  • bbbobbbo77

yup i’ll second that, great question. I own an N7100 and have no idea whether my device is 4g enabled (or at least capable). But it surely does have FM module.

GREAT great video, keep it up and many thx

  • Sukebes15

Great video!! Do you think it’s possible to just replacing the front glass cover? With out Damaging the LCD? I dropped my Note 2 and the front glass shattered in pieces but the LCD and Touchscreen works just fine. Needs your Professional opinion! Thanks!!!!

  • Sheikh Asad Ahammad

Thank you very much. I will be waiting….

  • LE55ONS

    lol, well spotted :-)

  • LE55ONS

I’m not sure if it has the chip or not, my son is borrowing this at the moment, when I get it back I’ll do a high res scan of the mainboard and post a link in description

  • tubata111

this man is a perfectionist look @ the screws @ 12:19 i like that !

  • Sheikh Asad Ahammad

Thanks for your reply. I am from Australia. I want to buy one, but confused. Samsung told me that N7105 is LTE/4G version, but does not have FM radio; and N7100 is not LTE/4G version that has FM radio. They also told me that no LTE/4G device has FM radio, eg. I9305. Did you find 4G/LTE hardware/chip in N7100?

  • LE55ONS

From a quick Google I’ve found the N7100 is 4G and the N7105 is 4G/LTE. I’m not sure about the FM radio

  • bbbcomrade

ok that would be great but i am not sure when this chipset will be avaliable not sure

  • LE55ONS

if I had unlimited time I would buy the tools and make a video for it..

  • Sheikh Asad Ahammad

In this video, we’ve watched a N7100 device. You told in this video that it has a antenna for 4G. My question is that does it have LTE/4G hardware? If it has LTE/4G hardware, then does it have FM radio? If it has FM radio and LTE/4G, then what’s the difference between N7100 and N7105?

  • bbbcomrade

ok man i hope i will find 64 gb memory chip when it will avaliable when it will can i ask you about how to replace chipset ?

  • LE55ONS

yes its surface mounted like the memory chip, and the mic can be replaced with a hot air soldering iron

  • bbbcomrade

ok you mean the chipset is intagrated on the main board and i need tin solder machine and some other special tool to do the job am i right ?
and final thing is it possible to find repleacement memory chipset like microphone or other internal parts that you say on your video

  • LE55ONS

it is possible but requires specialist tools that you would find in a electronics lab

  • bbbcomrade

yes actually u r right and i want to ask you something is it possible to remove phone internal memory chipset and replace it with new one for example when 64 gb chipset avaliable can i replace it with the 16gb in my galaxy note 2

  • VauxhallHelp

If your careful there’s no reason for it not to work…

  • Stormrider666

    like a sir . awesome.

  • bbbcomrade

very good video but if i will do that my galaxy note 2 probably never work even i assamble it like you did and i will never know why :) LOL

  • Adrian Ott

    I will,thanx

  • LE55ONS

I’m not sure where the sensor might be, you could try posting your question on a samsung forum

  • Adrian Ott

I dropped my phone a few days ago, and the auto rotation stopped working. Where is this component and is it possible to fix by myself?
